Software Project Manager

Recently joined YUM! Brands, a company with over 52,000 restaurants in more than 150 countries and territories primarily operating the company’s restaurant brands – KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and The Habit Burger Grill.  

As a Software Development Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of software development projects. This is a critical role in coordinating various teams, resources, and tasks to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. 
  • Develop project plans, including task breakdown, timelines, and resource allocation. 
  • Form and lead cross-functional project teams. 
  • Monitor project progress and track milestones. 
  • Guide and support various processes within the organization. 
  • Address any issues, risks, or obstacles that arise during development. 
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules and deadlines. 
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients. 
  • Provide regular project status updates. 
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. 
  • Create post-project reports to document lessons learned and best practices. 


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • 4+ years experience as a Project Manager in software development. 
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). 
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software. 
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities. 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices. 
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal)
